Can I use my CPAP on airplane?

  • Strict regulations apply to the use of medical device onboard of aircraft. In general, you should inform your airline the need to use CPAP device onboard as early as possible. You need to provide flight information, the device details, and the specifications of batteries, etc., for relevant department to study and approve. On the day of departure, you should check in early for your flight.
    * The arrangement and regulations of each airline are different. Please check the details with your airline once it is confirmed.
  • Please pack your CPAP device in carry-on baggage. Do not put it through check-in baggage to avoid damage.
  • If you need to use the humidifier, remove the water tank and empty all water before packing it, then put the empty water tank back to the CPAP. Please pack your CPAP device in carry-on baggage. Do not put it through check-in baggage to avoid damage.
