Respironics most advanced and easy-to-use noninvasive ventilator
See how the Vision™ System advances respiratory care.
The BiPAP™ Vision™ System is designed with advanced technology for use in any location where noninvasive ventilation is administered. Set up is quick and operating the unit is simple. The BiPAP™ Vision™ may eliminate the need for intubation in appropriate patients.
A new way to view your patient
Integrated Display Screen provides complete information for patient monitoring and system operation. It displays easy to read real time graphics, providing measured and calculated numerical values to assist with ventilator management.

Performance and ease of use
The Oxygen Module allows you to blend oxygen within the unit and gives you the control of supplying reliable oxygen concentration levels to your patient.
The Digital Auto-Trak System™ integrated into the BiPAP™ Vision™ is a unique feature especially designed to automatically adjust sensitivity for triggering and cycling whatever the leaks.
Pressure regulation at the mask allows you to regulate pressure therapy where it counts.
High pressure and flow capabilities, and complete range of alarms allow you to ventilate even the more challenging patients safely.
PAV ˉ A Logical Progression in Ventilation
By combining experience in noninvasive ventilation and innovation Respironics has developed the first PAV mode (Proportional Assist Ventilation) specifically designed for noninvasive ventilation. PAV is now available in the BiPAP™ Vision™ in addition to CPAP and S/T modes. In PAV mode, the pressure generated by the BiPAP™ Vision™ is proportional to patient efforts.
The patient’s effort determines pressure, flow, tidal volume, respiratory rate and I/E ratio. on a theoretical standpoint PAV is the ideal mode of ventilation because it respects the natural variation in breathing patterns. With PAV, the patient is in control of his ventilation, therefore there is a complete harmonization between the patient and the machine.
In addition to the existing modes of ventilation in the BiPAP™ Vision™ (CPAP and S/T modes) PAV is a new option for you to improve the rate of success of noninvasive ventilation.

PAV has been evaluated as a routine mode of ventilation in 7 European centers from October 1999 to March 2000.
Our PAV mode appears to be very effective (83% of the patients have been treated successfully, 59 patients treated, 15 different respiratory diseases of which 53% are COPD) and easy to use (PAV was found easy to very easy to use in 69% of the cases).
By integrating a quick start option with predefined values according to the disease selected, Respironics makes PAV easy to set up. This quick start option has been used successfully in 90% of the cases.
The amount of work required with PAV has been rated as medium to low in 81% of the cases. Therefore PAV does not generate additional work for the medical team while it leads to exceptional patient compliance since only 12% of the patients presented with a bad or very bad compliance.
By taking advantage of the 3 modes available in the BiPAP™ Vision™ (CPAP, S/T, PAV), you extend very simply your ventilatory strategy, and therefore you optimize the patient’s recovery.
